Salam Alaykum waRahmatuAllahi WaBarakatuhu ladies,
Just wanted to say if your nn is on the down low and can use an imaan rush---hold a sisters chill session!!! What better a way to reach out to sisters than to discuss the spirit of sacrifice of KhaleelulAllah--The one who was considered the intimate friend of Allah: Ibrahim Alayhisallam?!!
After Consultation (which is in process), I have a dream for each of LI Unit's nn's having an Eid Social to bring back participation and activeness in our unit and more over, to REACH OUT to the many young sisters that could use a support group and that great feeling of sisterhood.
One of my sisters gave me the idea of having everyone bring something they absolutely love..like hubb to the extreme...and then talking about it, and in some way or another sacrificing it in the way of Allah ie: donating it...
I need ideas for fun ice breakers and things other nns have done in the past...so can you guys please help me inshaAllah?
