As-salaamu 'alaykum,

masha Allah i think it's awesome YM is finding so many ways to honor the youth...

what's the difference between this award and the leadership award? Won't both be presented at the ICNA convention/YC next month?

can we choose the same sister we chose for the leadership award?

This event will inshaAllah be presenting multiple awards for various achievements. So:

- if you know someone who does a lot of volunteer work, nominate them for recognition as someone who helps out the community.
- if you know someone who is always trying to get girls to come to the YM NNs or always gets involved; nominate them as a YM enthusiast.

This is the time to recognize those sisters who usually don't get recognized for amazing things they are doing! Let's encourage the youth to accomplish more inshaAllah.

I'm just wondering, with all these awards, can you nominate Canadians or is this just YMS US?

Calling all ladies:

if you know a sister who needs to be recognized, and you two are coming to the convention, what are you waiting for?

Lets us feel good about being young, and pleasing Allah, as we will not be "forever young".

Are there any specific categories we are nominating sisters for? It would be easier if that would be the case... and an application form too. :)
