The sour skittles arn't halal here also, not the gelatine but colouring used is haraam.

In China, they had this Rocher knockoff, and it looked just like it from the outside but was filled with something that tasted like rotten peanut butter instead. When my aunt had come to the US and saw that we liked Rocher so she had literally stacked up on this one candy for us. It was... an interesting ordeal.
